Does AI AutoPost add ALT text to images?

Yes. The featured image is always set with ALT text. When the SEO Engine is on, images also get an SEO-friendly file name, a title and a description.

The ALT text comes from:

• the source's own ALT text, or
• the photo caption, or
• the topic of the story, when the source gives neither.

AI AutoPost never invents what is in the picture. It does not guess faces, places or objects, because a wrong description would mislead readers and screen-reader users. If you want a more detailed description for an important story, you can edit the ALT text of the image in the Media Library or in the post editor at any time.
