How do I back up and restore my campaigns?

Export your campaigns to a JSON file and import that file when you need them back.

Export:

• All campaigns: AI AutoPost → Settings → Export / Import Campaigns → Export All Campaigns.
• Some campaigns: in All Campaigns, tick them, choose Export in Bulk actions and click Apply.

You get a file like mcp-campaigns-2026-10-05.json. Keep it as a backup before big changes.

Import: click Import Campaigns at the top of All Campaigns and choose the file, or choose the file in Settings → Export / Import Campaigns and click Import Campaigns. You see N campaign(s) imported successfully.

Imported campaigns are always added as new; existing campaigns are never overwritten. Post counts and last run start fresh, and each campaign keeps its Live or Draft state, so check it before it starts posting. On another site, also check Categories and Post Author, because category and user IDs differ between sites.
