How do I update AI AutoPost, and are my campaigns and settings kept?

AI AutoPost updates through the normal WordPress update screen, like any other plugin, and your campaigns, settings and posts are kept. After the update the plugin stays active and its background task is created again automatically.

1. When a new version is out, it appears in Dashboard → Updates and on the Plugins page. AI AutoPost screens also show a notice with Update now.
2. To check right away, open AI AutoPost → Settings and click Check for Updates in the Plugin Licence box, then go to Plugins.
3. Click update now under AI AutoPost. You can also turn on Enable auto-updates there.

Keep your licence active, because the update check uses it. After updating, check that the licence and Cron Schedule show ACTIVE. New versions need WordPress 6.2+ and PHP 7.4+. If an update fails, see Plugin update problems.
