Feeds, source articles and images are downloaded by your own server. Your server talks to algopointai.com for these purposes:
- Licence – your licence key and site domain, so campaigns can run and credits are counted. The update check also uses the licence.
- AI writing – the AI request for each AI-written post. No AI request is sent for campaigns without AI, or once the daily credit limit is reached.
- Logo Protection – the featured image and up to 5 images in the article, scaled down, are compared with known company logos. This uses no credits.
- Remote start – only if your site's WP-Cron cannot run, AlgoPoint opens a start link on your own domain that carries just a secret key.
Keep your licence key private: anyone with the key could try to use your credits. Copy it only from your Dashboard into AI AutoPost → Settings → Plugin Licence. Never share your WordPress or hosting password; AlgoPoint support will never ask for it.
