Why does my RSS feed show as unreachable, invalid or give a 403 error?

It means AI AutoPost could not read a usable feed at that URL. The Log shows lines such as Feed … unreachable or returned 0 items, and the campaign moves on to the next feed in its list.

Common causes:

• The URL is not a feed. It opens a normal web page, a "page not found" error or a login page instead of XML.
• The website moved or closed the feed.
• The website refuses automatic visits. A 403 Forbidden error usually means this.
• The feed is down for a while or empty.

What to do:

1. Open the feed URL in your browser. You should see XML text.
2. If it fails there too, look for the new feed address of the site (try /feed, /rss or the page source) or choose another source.
3. If it opens in your browser but the Log still says unreachable, the website probably blocks automatic visits. Replace that feed.
4. If every feed fails, ask your host whether outgoing HTTP requests from your server are allowed.
