AI AutoPost skips an item on purpose when it does not pass a rule. It writes the reason to AI AutoPost → Log and moves on to the next item. The usual reasons:
- Too short or too long – outside the Minimum word count or Maximum word count of the campaign. With full article extraction the full article is counted, not the feed summary.
- Title contains "…" – it matched Skip if title contains (or Skip if content contains).
- Duplicate title – a post with exactly the same title already exists on your site.
- Same story as post #… – Duplicate Stories found a recent post with a similar original headline, from any campaign or feed.
- No image in the feed item or the article – items without any image are skipped.
- Failed 3 times – the image download or the AI request failed on three tries.
Skipped items are remembered, so the campaign does not keep trying them. Items skipped for their length or by Duplicate Stories are skipped before the AI request, so they use no credit. To change the rules, see Filters - skip keywords, word limits and duplicates.
