Filters - skip keywords, word limits and duplicates

Skip articles by keyword or length, and learn how AI AutoPost avoids posting the same news twice.

Updated 1 view

Filters are in the Content Settings box of each campaign. A skipped article is written to the Log with the reason, and the campaign moves on to the next article.

Word limits

  • Minimum word count – skip articles shorter than this. 0 = off.
  • Maximum word count – skip articles longer than this. 0 = off.

Words are counted correctly for Hindi and other languages. When you use full article extraction, the full article is counted, not the short feed summary. An article skipped for its length is not tried again for one day.

Tip: A minimum of about 120 words stops very short items, like one-line updates, from becoming posts. Campaigns made by Auto Setup use 120.

Skip keywords

  • Skip if title contains – comma separated words, for example sponsored, advertisement, promo.
  • Skip if content contains – the same for the article text.

Matching ignores upper and lower case. A word also matches inside a longer word, so keep keywords specific. Good title keywords for news sites are Live Updates, LIVE:, Live Blog, Horoscope Today, Quiz, Photos:, In Pics, Watch:.

Duplicate protection

AI AutoPost avoids double posts in several ways:

  • Each feed item is used only once per campaign. It is remembered even if it was skipped.
  • Same title already on your site. If a post with exactly the same title exists (published, draft, pending or private), the article is skipped as duplicate title.
  • SEO duplicate check. The SEO Engine compares new posts with your existing posts for similar titles and text. You choose what happens: allow with a warning, hold for review, block, or rewrite again. See SEO Settings.

Articles that keep failing

If an article's image cannot be downloaded or the AI request fails, the campaign tries the same article again on the next run. After 3 failed tries the article is skipped and the campaign moves on. Running out of credits does not count as a failed try.

Content Validation (all campaigns)

AI AutoPost → Settings → Content Validation is a second check on the finished post. Posts that are too short are saved as Draft instead of being skipped. See Content validation.
