Feed URL(s)
In Campaign Options, paste your feeds into Feed URL(s), one RSS or Atom URL per line.
Feeds are tried in order. If the first feed cannot be reached or has no new article, the next feed is used. Each run takes one new article.
Which feeds work best
- Section feeds of news websites, for example a site's "Sports" or "India" feed.
- WordPress sites:
example.com/feedor a category feed likeexample.com/category/sports/feed. - Google News search feeds, for example
https://news.google.com/rss/search?q=cricket. - Feeds that give a photo with each item. Articles without any image are skipped.
- Feeds in the same language as your site, or let AI rewrite them in your language.
- Feeds whose photos have no channel logo or watermark. Photos with a logo are held by Logo Protection.
Avoid feeds full of live blogs, quizzes or photo galleries. To check a feed, open it in your browser. You should see XML text, not an error page.
Content extraction method
Feeds usually contain only a short summary. In Content Settings, choose how to get the article text:
- Feed content as-is (usually a short summary) – uses only the feed text.
- Auto-detect full article (recommended) – opens each article and imports the full text with headings, lists, quotes, tables and images. Menus, ads, share buttons and "also read" boxes are removed.
- Extract by CSS selector (class or ID) – for example
.article-bodyor#content. - Extract by XPath – for example
//div[@itemprop="articleBody"]. - Extract by Regex – a pattern with a capture group, for example
<div class="content">(.*?)</div>. The first group becomes the content.
For the last three, type your rule in Extraction selector / pattern. If your rule finds nothing, AI AutoPost falls back to auto-detect.
If a website blocks automatic visits, the feed text is used instead. Paywalls are never bypassed.
Other options in Campaign Options and Content Settings
- Set feed item categories as post tags – the feed's own categories become tags.
- Disable comments on imported posts.
- Strip source links from content – removes links but keeps their text.
- Strip scripts and iframes from content – on by default.
- Strip first image from content (after setting as featured image).
- Append source attribution at the end of posts (recommended for copyright) – adds a small Source link to the original article.
Tip: Only publish content you have the right to use. Rewriting with AI and keeping the Source link is the safer choice.
