Update Frequency
In the right column, the Update Frequency box says Try to add a new post every … Choose:
- a number from 1 to 1440 (use the slider or type it), and
- an Update Unit: Minutes, Hours or Days.
Each time the campaign runs it adds one new post, if its feeds have a new article that passes the filters. New campaigns start at 60 Minutes.
Examples:
30Minutes – about 48 posts a day.2Hours – about 12 posts a day.1Days – one post a day.
If a posting time for all campaigns is set in Auto Setup, a blue note says so and that time is used instead. See Posting time for all campaigns.
Start Time (optional)
Pick a date and time in Start Time. Auto-posting begins at that moment.
- Leave it empty to start immediately.
- A time in the past also starts immediately.
- Run Now always ignores the Start Time.
Max posts
In the Publish box, Max posts (1 to 10000, default 2000) is the total number of posts this campaign may create. When the limit is reached, the campaign stops and Run & Status shows Post limit reached — raise "Max posts" to keep posting.
Tip: For a test, set Max posts to 2 or 3. Raise it when you are happy.
Reading Run & Status
At the top of the campaign editor:
- Last run: for example 12 min ago · 5 Oct, 10:30, or Not run yet.
- Next run: in 47 mins · 11:30 – when it will run on its own.
- Next run: within a minute – it is due now.
- Draft — click Publish to run it on its schedule. – the campaign is not live.
How the timing really works
- AI AutoPost checks all live campaigns every minute with WP-Cron.
- Only one check runs at a time, so two runs never post the same article twice.
- WP-Cron needs visitors. On quiet sites runs can be late. A real server cron job solves this. See How scheduling and cron work.
- If no new article is found, the next try is after the next interval.
