Categories
In the Publish box, tick one or more boxes under Categories. The list shows all categories on your site. AI AutoPost never creates categories, so create them first under Posts → Categories.
- Posts of this campaign are filed under the categories you tick.
- If you tick nothing, WordPress uses its default category (usually Uncategorized). The SEO check flags this.
Tip: Tick one category per campaign. Make a separate campaign for each category, with feeds about that topic. This keeps your category pages clean. Auto Setup works exactly this way.
The SEO Settings also have an option Also assign existing categories that match the article topic (off by default). See SEO Settings.
Post Author
In Campaign Options, choose the Post Author. The list shows administrators, editors and authors. New campaigns use your own user. Imported posts are published under this user, also when the campaign runs on its schedule.
New Post Status
In the Publish box, choose New Post Status:
- Publish – posts go live at once.
- Draft – posts wait as drafts. You check and publish them.
- Pending Review – posts wait in the "Pending" list for an editor.
When the status is changed for you
Some safety checks can hold a post even if you chose Publish:
- Logo Protection – a photo may show a company logo, or the check could not finish. The post becomes Pending Review with the label Logo hold or Logo review. See Posts held for logo review.
- Content Validation – the title or article is shorter than your limits. The post is saved as Draft. See Content validation.
- SEO Engine – if the SEO score is below your minimum and you chose Hold as Pending Review, or a duplicate was found and you chose to hold it. See SEO Settings.
A post that was held is never published automatically. You publish it yourself after checking.
Campaign status vs post status
Do not mix them up:
- Campaign status (Live or Draft) decides if the campaign runs.
- New Post Status decides what happens to the posts it makes.
