SEO & Google

Is it duplicate content if several of my sites publish the same news?

It depends on how the posts are made. When several pages are nearly identical, Google usually shows only one of them, so the copies rarely get search traffic. Publishing the same text on many sites just to rank can also fall under Google's spam policies.

  • With AI rewriting, each article is written fresh in new words, with a randomly chosen mix of writing rules, so two sites using the same feed are unlikely to get the same text. The facts are still the same, so each site should add something of its own.
  • Without AI, posts stay close to the feed text, which is the most likely to be treated as a duplicate.
  • On one site, Duplicate Stories skips a story already posted from another feed, and the SEO Engine compares each new post with your existing posts.

Best practice: give each site its own niche or region and its own feeds, add local value and keep the Source link. If you deliberately republish one of your own articles on a second site, set the Canonical URL in the post's SEO panel to the original post.
