Technical & Troubleshooting

How do I stop the same news story being posted twice from different feeds?

Use Duplicate Stories. Before a news item is downloaded or sent to AI, AI AutoPost compares its original headline with the headlines of posts made recently, across all campaigns and feeds. If they share enough meaningful words, such as names, places and topic words, the item is skipped. Small words like "the", "of", "का" or "में" do not count.

  1. Go to AI AutoPost → Settings → Duplicate Stories.
  2. Keep Skip a news item when the same story was already posted ticked (on by default).
  3. Choose Compare with posts from the last 12, 24, 48 or 72 hours (default 24).
  4. Choose How strict: Strict (2 shared words), Normal (3, default) or Relaxed (4). At least half of the shorter headline must match.
  5. Click Save Duplicate Rule.

A skipped item uses no credit and is not tried again; the Log names the post it matched. If different stories are skipped too often, choose Relaxed. If the same story still appears twice, choose Strict or a longer time. A Hindi headline cannot be matched with an English one.
