Say it plainly in the prompt, near the start: Use only facts from the article. Keep every name, number, date, place and quote exactly as in the source. Do not invent facts or quotes.
- Prompt Builder: keep all Fact Accuracy options ticked — Preserve names, Preserve dates, Preserve numbers / statistics, Do not create fake quotes and Do not invent facts.
- Built-in rules: article requests also carry AlgoPoint's writing rules. The rules about facts always apply, even where your prompt overrides other rules, so a prompt cannot switch them off.
- Give the AI the full story: use Auto-detect full article. A 2-line summary leaves gaps the AI should not fill.
- Do not ask for extras such as background, statistics or expert quotes that the source does not contain.
AI can still make mistakes. For health, law or money stories, set New Post Status to Pending Review or Draft so an editor checks names and numbers before publishing.
