Good posts start with good sources and clear rules. These tips help most news sites.
Start with good feeds
- Use section feeds on one topic per campaign, for example only sports feeds in the Sports campaign.
- Prefer feeds that give a large photo without a logo.
- Use Auto-detect full article. The AI writes much better from a full article than from a 2-line summary.
- Set a Minimum word count of about 120 so very short items are skipped.
Let the Prompt Builder do the work
- Start with Standard News Rewrite or Short News.
- Keep all Fact Accuracy options ticked: Preserve names, Preserve dates, Preserve numbers / statistics, Do not create fake quotes, Do not invent facts.
- For Hindi sites, tick Simple language (e.g. Simple Hindi) and Short paragraphs. Most readers use a phone.
- Tick Avoid clickbait. Google and readers both dislike it.
- Do not tick too many options. A short, clear prompt is followed better than a long one.
Choose the right length
- 300 words suits breaking news and short sources.
- 500 words suits normal stories with enough detail.
If the source is short, the AI writes a shorter article instead of adding filler. This is on purpose.
Check before you publish everything
- Set New Post Status to Draft and Max posts to 3.
- Click Run Now a few times.
- Read the drafts. Check names, numbers and the headline.
- Adjust the options and click Generate Prompt.
- When you are happy, set Publish and raise Max posts.
For sensitive topics like health, law or money, keep Pending Review so an editor checks each post.
Add your own value
- Add your own comment, local angle or photos to important stories.
- Keep the Source link at the end of posts.
- Publish at a steady pace and stay in your niche. Thousands of posts in a day help nobody.
Watch the numbers
- The SEO Dashboard shows posts with low scores and common issues. See SEO Dashboard.
- The Log shows skipped articles and why.
Remember: AI can make mistakes. You are the editor of your site, so check what matters.
