Translation and slug language

Translate posts into 51 languages with Google Translate and keep post URLs in English letters.

There are two ways to publish in your language:

  1. Let the AI write in your language – choose the language in the Prompt Builder or in Auto Setup. This gives the most natural text. See The Prompt Builder.
  2. Translate with Google Translate – useful for campaigns without AI.

The Translation box

Every campaign has a Translation box:

  • Enable auto-translation – turns translation on. It uses Google Translate and is applied after all other steps, including AI.
  • Translate To – the target language. 51 languages are available, including Hindi, Bengali, Urdu, Tamil, Telugu, Marathi, Gujarati, Punjabi, Arabic, Spanish and French. New campaigns start with your site language (Settings → General → Site Language), but nothing is translated until you tick Enable auto-translation.

Both the title and the article are translated. Translation does not use credits.

Tip: Do not use AI and translation for the same language. If the AI already writes in Hindi, leave Enable auto-translation off. Translating twice can make the text worse.

Slug Language

The slug is the last part of the post URL, for example mysite.com/rbi-repo-rate-decision/.

  • English – the slug is made in English (ASCII) letters from the original title. A Hindi or other non-Latin title is first translated to English for the slug, or written in Latin letters. Recommended for Hindi and other Indian-language sites.
  • Campaign Default Language – WordPress makes the slug from the final post title. For a Hindi title this gives a Hindi URL, which looks like long %E0%A4… codes when shared.

Campaigns made by Auto Setup and the starter campaigns use English.

SEO slugs

When the SEO Engine is on, it also makes the slug short: at most 6 words by default, without stop words like "a", "the" or "of". You can change this in SEO Settings → URL / Permalink. The URL of a post that is already published is never changed automatically.

Language for all posts

Auto Setup → Post language — all campaigns can force one language for every AI campaign, for the headline, article and SEO. The slug still stays in English letters. See Post language for all posts.
