Post language for all posts

Write every AI post - headline, article and SEO - in one language such as Hindi, whatever language the source uses.

The card Post language — all campaigns on the Auto Setup page sets the language of your posts in one place.

Choose the language

Pick a language from the list:

  • Hindi (default)
  • English
  • Hinglish (Hindi written in English letters)
  • Marathi, Bengali, Gujarati, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam

Write every post in this language

Tick Write every post in this language (headline, article and SEO), whatever the campaign says. This box is ticked the first time you open the page.

When it is ticked and the page is saved:

  • The headline is written in this language.
  • The article is written in this language.
  • The SEO data (SEO title, description, keywords) follows the same language.
  • It applies to all campaigns that rewrite with AI, also the ones you made by hand. It wins over the language in a campaign's Prompt Builder or prompt.

A source article in English can therefore become a Hindi post on your site. No separate translation step is needed.

What it does not change

  • Campaigns without AI. If a campaign has no AI prompt ([gpt]) in its templates, the language setting cannot change its text. Such campaigns publish the source text as it is, or use the campaign's own translation setting. See Translation and slug language.
  • The URL slug. The slug has its own setting, explained below.

URL slug language

Under the language box, URL slug language decides the web address of new posts:

  • English (recommended) – the default. A Hindi post gets an address in English letters, for example /modi-cabinet-meeting-decision/. Such links are short, clean and easy to share.
  • Same as the post language – the address uses the words of the headline, for example /मोदी-कैबिनेट-बैठक-फैसला/. Browsers show it in Hindi, but when copied it often becomes a long code like %e0%a4%ae….
  • Each campaign decides – every campaign uses its own Slug Language option (on the campaign page).

The SEO Engine follows this choice when it shortens the slug. It applies to new posts only: addresses of published posts never change, so old links keep working.

When to untick it

Untick the box if different campaigns should write in different languages, for example a Hindi site with one English section. Each campaign then uses the language of its own Prompt Builder. See The Prompt Builder.

New campaigns made here

Campaigns created by Save & create campaigns always use the language chosen in this card in their Prompt Builder.

Tip: For Hindi news sites, keep Hindi selected and the box ticked. Your sources can then be Hindi or English feeds.
