AI rewriting runs through your AlgoPoint AI account. You do not need an OpenAI, Gemini or any other API key. You pay with credits.
What uses a credit
- 1 credit for each post rewritten with AI. The headline, the article and the SEO data (keywords, SEO title, description) are made in one AI request, so together they cost 1 credit.
- Posts without AI use no credits. A campaign uses AI only if its templates contain a
[gpt]…[/gpt]prompt, for example from the Prompt Builder. - Logo Protection uses no credits. It is image matching on the AlgoPoint server, not AI.
- One exception: if you set the SEO duplicate action to Rewrite again (1 extra AI credit), a post that looks like a duplicate is rewritten once more and uses 1 more credit. See SEO Settings.
If an AI request fails, you are not charged for it.
Where to see your balance
- At the top of AI AutoPost screens and the Posts list, a credit box shows Credits Remaining with a bar. It turns yellow when 5 or fewer credits are left (Low credits remaining) and red at zero (No credits remaining).
- AI AutoPost → Settings → AI Credits shows for example 142 / 200 credits remaining (58 used).
- After Run Now, the result card shows the credits used and left.
- Your Dashboard at algopointai.com shows Credits Remaining, Credits Used, Used This Month and Used Today, and Credit History lists every change.
Buying credits
Click Buy Credits in the credit box. It opens your AlgoPoint account, already signed in, on the Buy Post Credits page. See Buy credits and plans.
When credits run out
- Run Now on an AI campaign stops before it starts: Not enough credits. Nothing is used.
- Scheduled runs skip AI posts. The article is not marked as failed. It is tried again once you have credits.
- Nothing is published half-finished, and you are never charged beyond your balance.
- Campaigns without AI keep running.
As soon as you add credits, AI posting continues on the next run.
Tip: To estimate your need, add up the posts per day of all AI campaigns. For example 6 campaigns posting every 2 hours is about 72 credits a day.
