RSS Feed Help

Which feed formats and sources work with AI AutoPost, and which don't?

AI AutoPost reads RSS and Atom feeds. If a source publishes either one, you can use it.

Sources that work:

  • News websites, often with one feed per section
  • WordPress blogs: example.com/feed or a category feed such as example.com/category/technology/feed
  • Google News search and topic feeds
  • Medium (medium.com/feed/@username) and Substack (name.substack.com/feed)
  • YouTube channels: youtube.com/feeds/videos.xml?channel_id=CHANNEL_ID
  • Podcasts, using the feed URL of the show
  • Public subreddits: add .rss to the end of the subreddit URL

What does not work:

  • Websites without any feed. AI AutoPost does not scrape pages that have no feed.
  • Social networks, shopping sites and custom APIs.
  • A link that opens a normal web page or an error instead of XML.

Also keep in mind that articles without any image are skipped, so a feed that never gives a photo, in the feed or on the article page, produces no posts. Feeds full of live blogs, quizzes or photo galleries also give poor results. See content sources.
