Can I save campaign posts as drafts instead of publishing them?

Yes. The New Post Status setting in the Publish box of each campaign decides what happens to the posts it creates:

• Publish – posts go live at once.
• Draft – posts wait as drafts. You check and publish them.
• Pending Review – posts wait in the Pending list for an editor.

Some safety checks can still hold a post even when you chose Publish: Logo Protection can make it Pending Review, Content Validation saves posts that are too short as Draft, and the SEO Engine can hold posts if you set it to. A held post is never published automatically.

Do not mix this up with the campaign status. Live or Draft on the campaign decides whether the campaign runs; New Post Status decides what happens to the posts. Tip: if you are not sure about the quality yet, use Draft, review a few posts, then switch to Publish.
