Open AI AutoPost → SEO Settings → Sitemap Integration and turn on Google News sitemap (only when no other plugin provides one). It is off by default. The other options:
Click Save SEO settings. The tab then shows the address, for example https://yoursite.com/mcp-news-sitemap.xml. Add it in Google Search Console → Sitemaps. If the address shows "not found", go to Settings → Permalinks in WordPress and click Save Changes once.
If Yoast News SEO, Rank Math or another plugin already makes a news sitemap, the AI AutoPost one stays off, so there are never two. Your normal XML sitemap keeps working. A news sitemap helps Google find new stories faster, but it does not get you into Google News by itself; Google decides that.
