RSS Feed Help

How often does AI AutoPost check my RSS feeds?

Each campaign checks its feeds on its own schedule, which you set in the Update Frequency box: Try to add a new post every 1 to 1440 Minutes, Hours or Days. New campaigns start at 60 Minutes.

  • On each run the campaign reads its feeds and adds one new post, if a new article passes the filters. If there is none, it tries again after the next interval.
  • Behind the scenes, AI AutoPost checks all live campaigns every minute with WP-Cron and runs the ones that are due. On quiet sites WP-Cron can be late; a real server cron job fixes that.
  • An optional Start Time delays the first run. Run Now checks at once and ignores the schedule.
  • If a posting time for all campaigns is set in Auto Setup, that time is used instead.

For example, 30 Minutes gives about 48 posts a day and 2 Hours about 12, as long as the feeds have enough new stories. Match the interval to how often your sources publish. See Campaign schedule - frequency, start time and max posts.
