What does my PHP news website need to use AlgoPoint Connect?

Your website needs four things:

• PHP 7.2 or newer: the connector is a PHP file.
• MySQL or MariaDB with PDO or mysqli: posts are saved in your database.
• HTTPS: AlgoPoint sends posts only to a secure address.
• A folder the connector can write to: for its settings and the pictures.

The common PHP news CMSs, with tables such as articles or news, categories and users, are recognised by the connector by itself. If your CMS is not known yet, connect it anyway: your website's page shows Setting up your CMS, and our team sets up your news tables once, usually within one working day. Nothing to do on your side.

When you first open the connector in your browser, it checks the PHP version, the database, HTTPS, picture download and the uploads folder for you.
