RSS Feed Help

How do I choose good, reliable RSS feeds for a news website?

Good feeds make good posts. Before you add a feed, check these points:

  • One topic per feed. Use section feeds, such as the "Sports" or "India" feed of a news site, and put only sports feeds in a Sports campaign.
  • A photo with each item. Articles without any image are skipped. Prefer large photos without a channel logo or watermark, because photos with a logo are held by Logo Protection.
  • Full articles available. Check that Auto-detect full article imports the whole story and that the site does not block automatic visits or use a paywall.
  • The same language as your site, or let the AI rewrite the text in your language.
  • No live blogs, quizzes or photo galleries. Feeds full of these give poor posts.
  • Regular updates from a source you trust, so the campaign keeps getting new stories.

To test a feed, open it in your browser (you should see XML), then set New Post Status to Draft and use Run Now. Replace feeds that often fail, lack photos or get held for logos. Auto Setup already suggests tested feeds for common news topics. See RSS feeds and full article extraction.
