Logo Protection checks news photos for the logos and watermarks of TV channels and news websites — for example a channel badge in the corner of a picture — before a post is created. Publishing such a photo on your site can cause copyright trouble, so this check helps you avoid it.
For every article it checks:
The images are sent to the AlgoPoint server and compared with a list of known company logos using image matching. This is not AI, so the check uses no credits. Large photos are scaled down before sending.
Logo Protection is always on and needs an active licence. Each check ends in one of three results: PUBLISH (no known logo), HOLD (a known logo was found) or MANUAL_REVIEW (maybe a logo, or the check could not finish). See Logo Protection.
