Working with Yoast, Rank Math and other SEO plugins

You can keep your current SEO plugin. AI AutoPost detects it and works with it.

AI AutoPost → SEO Settings shows what was Detected at the top, and who prints the Head tags, for example printed by Rank Math (AI AutoPost fills its fields).

Hybrid mode (recommended)

In SEO Settings → General SEO, the SEO output mode is Hybrid (recommended) by default:

• When an SEO plugin is active, AI AutoPost writes the SEO title, meta description and focus keyword into that plugin's fields. Your SEO plugin prints the tags in the page head. There are no duplicate title, description, canonical, Open Graph or schema tags.
• When no SEO plugin is active, AI AutoPost prints all SEO tags itself: meta description, robots, canonical, Open Graph, X cards and JSON-LD schema.

The other modes

• AI AutoPost outputs all SEO tags (only if no other SEO plugin outputs them) – for sites without an SEO plugin.
• Existing SEO plugin only — never output our own tags – AI AutoPost only fills your plugin's fields.

Editing in the post editor

The AI AutoPost SEO panel still shows the score and checks. Values you change there are also written into your SEO plugin's fields, so both always agree. You can also keep editing in Yoast or Rank Math as before.

Scores from two plugins

Yoast or Rank Math show their own score. It can differ from the AI AutoPost score because each tool checks different things. Use the one you trust. Both look at the same title, description and keyword.

Sitemaps

Your SEO plugin's XML sitemap keeps working. AI AutoPost only adds a Google News sitemap if you turn it on and no other plugin already makes one. See Google News sitemap, News SEO and IndexNow.

Without any SEO plugin

That is fine too. AI AutoPost covers the important basics on its own. Turn on the tags you want in the Robots, Schema, Open Graph and Social Media tabs.

Tip: Use only one SEO plugin together with AI AutoPost. Two SEO plugins at the same time can print double tags.
