Many campaigns posting all day can use a lot of credits. The Daily Credit Limit keeps your spending under control: you choose the maximum number of credits per day, and AI AutoPost never goes over it.
How it works
- One AI-written post uses one credit. Every post counts toward today's total.
- When today's total reaches your limit, AI campaigns pause. No AI request is sent, so no credit is used.
- At midnight (your site's time zone, Settings → General) the count starts again from 0 and the campaigns continue on their own.
- News items found while the campaigns are paused are kept. They are posted the next day, so nothing is lost.
- Campaigns without AI are not affected and keep running.
Example: with a limit of 50, the site makes at most 50 AI posts a day, even if the campaigns could make 120.
Setting the limit
Go to AI AutoPost → Settings → Daily Credit Limit.
| Setting | What it does | Default |
|---|---|---|
| Limit the AI credits used per day | Turns the limit on or off | Off (no limit) |
| Maximum credits per day | The most credits AI AutoPost may use in one day | 50 when you turn it on |
Click Save Credit Limit. Below the number you see Used today: 12 of 50 credits.
You can change the limit at any time. If you raise it after the limit was reached, AI posting continues on the next run the same day.
Where you see it
- The credit box at the top of AI AutoPost screens shows Today: 12 / 50. When the limit is reached it turns red and says Daily credit limit reached.
- Run Now on an AI campaign stops before it starts and shows Daily credit limit reached — 50 of 50 credits used today. No post is created and no credit is used.
- The Log shows one line a day: Daily credit limit reached (50 of 50 credits used today). AI posts continue tomorrow.
Good to know
- The daily limit only counts credits used by this website. Your total balance is still shown in the credit box and in your AI credits.
- When your balance runs out before the daily limit, the usual No credits remaining message appears. See AI credits.
- The limit was added in version 1.6.2.
