Each licence works on one domain. Learn how to move it to a new domain with Reset Domain and how to run several sites.

Your licence in the Dashboard

Open Licenses in your Dashboard (also shown on the main Dashboard). Each licence card shows:

  • The licence key with a Copy button, and its status (Active).
  • Domain – the site it is bound to, or Not activated.
  • Expires – Never (credits don't expire).
  • Last Verified – when your site last checked the licence.
  • Domain Changes – for example 1/3 used.
  • Post Credits – remaining and used.
  • A history table of domain changes: Date, Action, From, To, By.

One licence, one domain

A licence is bound to the domain where you first activate it in AI AutoPost → Settings → Plugin Licence. It then only works on that domain. If you try it on another site you get License is bound to a different domain.

The domain is the site address without https://, for example mynews.com. A staging or local copy has a different address, so campaigns do not run there.

Move to a new domain

  1. Log in to your Dashboard and open Licenses.
  2. Click Reset Domain and confirm. The licence is now free.
  3. Install AI AutoPost on the new site.
  4. Enter the licence key in AI AutoPost → Settings → Plugin Licence and click Activate Licence.

Your credits move with the licence. Each licence includes 3 domain changes. When they are used up you see Domain change limit reached. Contact support if you need more.

Tip: Moving your site? Export your campaigns first (Settings → Export / Import Campaigns) and import them on the new site. See Clone, export and import campaigns.

Several websites

A licence works on one domain at a time. To run AI AutoPost on several sites at once, each site needs its own licence. Contact support and we will set up more licences for your account. In a WordPress multisite network, each site with its own domain needs its own licence too.

If the licence stops working

  • The plugin re-checks the licence regularly. If the AlgoPoint server cannot be reached, it keeps working for up to 3 days.
  • If you reset the domain in the Dashboard, the old site stops running campaigns.
  • See Activate your licence for error messages.
