Campaigns and credits

When you press Save categories, AlgoPoint makes one campaign for each news topic that has a category on your website. The campaigns run on AlgoPoint's server: nothing runs on your website and no cron job is needed.

What one run does

1. Reads the campaign's news feeds, newest stories first.
2. Skips stories it saw before, and stories already on your website (same link, or the same headline in the last 24 hours).
3. Reads the full article from the news page. Stories shorter than 120 words or without a picture are skipped.
4. Checks the picture for a TV channel or newspaper logo (Logo Protection). With a logo, the story is not posted. When the check is not sure, the post goes in as a draft so an editor can look at it.
5. Lets the AI write an original article with headline, summary, SEO title and description in your language.
6. Sends it to your website: as a draft or published, in the topic's category, with the author you chose and the picture saved on your website.

A run posts 1 story by default (up to 3), every 2 hours by default.

Your campaigns

On your website's page in My Sites, open a campaign under News campaigns to:

• switch it on or off
• change its news feeds (one address per line, tried in that order)
• choose how often it runs, how many posts per run, and the article length
• press Run now to run it at once

The free trial runs the National campaign. All other campaigns start after your first credit purchase.

Credits

• 1 credit per AI-written post, the same price as the WordPress plugin. Skipped stories and stories with a logo cost nothing.
• When a post cannot be delivered (for example your website is down for a long time, or a category was deleted), its credit is given back.
• Daily credit limit: set it on your website's page under Credits. When the limit is reached, posting continues the next day.
• One key, one balance: your websites use your licence key and its credits, shared with the WordPress plugin. Your Credit History lists every post, from the plugin and from your websites.

Buy credits

Open Buy Post Credits (or Buy credits on your website's page). The credits work for the plugin and all your websites. Credits never expire.

Report

Press Report on your website's page to see, for today, 7 days, 30 days or a year:

• posts made, published, and not saved because of a logo, and credits used
• the same per news feed, so you can replace a feed that often has logo pictures
• the latest stories with a link to the original article and to your post

“Latest news” box (optional)

Your website's page has a short code under “Latest news” box. Paste it where a box with your newest AlgoPoint posts should appear, for example in your homepage sidebar.
